First Day

The NTU Silat Club had a slow start during the opening day of the NUS Silat Invitational ‘07.

Four Pesilats were expected in the gelanggang with only one emerging as winner.

But due credit to the four Pesilats for giving all out and never giving up.

A special mention to Wak Shahid for his grit determination and intense fighting-spirit. Despite having displaced his knee joint during the early period of the third round, he still managed to put up a good fight, even drawing the appraisal and support of the timekeeper, who was seen grimacing when Wak fell to the ground before cheering for him for the rest of his fight.
