Announcement!!

NTU Silat Club will be putting up a booth at Recruitment Fair 2009 from 17th-19th August 2009, NTU North Spine (outside LT4) from 9am-5pm. Interested participants do pay us a visit at booth B13 to find out more about our club and to sign up as a member!

Those unable to make their way to our booth can still come down for our Welcome Tea 2009 event which is going to be held on the 25th of August 2009 (Tuesday) @  Sports & Recreation Centre Activity Room 1, from 7.00 pm – 9.30pm.

Doors will open at 7.00 pm

Muslim participants are encouraged to Iftar (Break Fast) together and it will be potluck.Non-muslims are welcome to join in the Iftar as well. =)

Praying area will be provided.

Event will start proper at 7.45pm
Attire: T-shirt and track pants

Farewell 2009

As the new academic year approaches, we bid farewell to our graduating members who have completed their course of study in NTU/NIE and are moving on to their respective working world.

A chalet-bbq was held at Goldkist Beach Resort (ECP) last Saturday, 1st August 2009, to celebrate their success and to acknowledge them for their commitment to the club in the past years. The event was also to acknowledge the contributions and the effort of the ex-committee in the running of the club.

We hope that those who came had fun and enjoyed themselves. Should there be any shortcomings on our part, we greatly apologize for that.

And lastly, on behalf of the current members of the NTU Silat Club, we would like to wish the graduating members best wishes and good luck for their future undertakings! Selamat maju jaya(:
